About Hunter’s Hive | Fall in Love with Hand-Poured Beeswax Candles

Hi, I'm Hunter.

I started making candles in my kitchen because I couldn't find one I actually liked burning that lasted long enough. Most candles smell synthetic, burn out fast, or leave black soot behind. I knew there had to be a cleaner, longer-lasting, more sustainable way!

The answer was beeswax. Pure, simple, and it burns longer and cleaner than anything else on the market. I got obsessed, started pouring them for myself, as gifts for friends and family, then it quickly evolved into what Hunter's Hive Candles is today!  We just bought our first home in Bastrop, Texas, and the candles are now made in my garage. Small batches, more care, and a healthy obsession with quality.

We use 100% pure beeswax that is ethically sourced from local beekeepers, co-ops, and fair-trade groups.


Its non-toxic properties allow for a cleaner burn and has a much higher melting point than soy or paraffin, so it will also burn WAY longer! This perfect combination makes for a responsible burn. Safe for children and pets!

We strive for complete sustainability, which is why our jars, lids, labels, and packaging are all made from 100% recycled materials! What's more, our candles are infused with a unique blend of high-quality oils that are free of phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive, organ and acute toxins, and are carefully hand-poured in small batches right in my garage! A clean and sustainable alternative from my heart to your home.

I've always dreamed of leaving the corporate world and working for myself. Every new Beeliever helps get me one step closer to achieving my dream. As with life, the journey is the most fulfilling part, so thank you all for supporting me and keeping the dream alive!
